Stanford house event 27/03/26
Stanford House Paranormal Investigation — 27th March
Our evening at Stanford House unfolded with a steady rise in atmosphere, activity, and connection, a night where the building felt responsive, and our guests leaned fully into the experience.
We started with introductions in the legendary Ye Olde Salutation Inn underground caves before starting the invention at Stanford House.
Singapore Theory
We opened the night by stepping back in time. With 18th‑century orchestral music filling the corridor and stories of the house’s former owners being shared, the group settled into a reflective, almost nostalgic energy.
Activity began quickly:
- The Dead Bell chimed in direct response to names and questions
- Incense smoke drifted in unnatural, shifting directions
- A feeling of presence watching from the corridor, as though someone lingered just out of sight
It set the tone beautifully gentle, intelligent, and unmistakably aware.
Victorian Blindfold Séance
Our second session took place in the Safe Room. Guests joined hands around the table, blindfolded, with the spirit box running in the background.
This session brought some of the strongest sensory reactions of the night:
- Light anomalies and drifting smoke patterns
- Repeated spirit box responses centred around the word “help”
- Noticeable cold spots forming near the end of the table, particularly around the safe
Coffin Estes Method
For our third session, one guest entered the coffin, blindfolded and wearing noise‑cancelling headphones connected to the spirit box. The rest of the group asked questions.
This session delivered clear, intelligent interaction:
- The Rem pod responded directly to questions
- Guests asked for the candle to be blown out responses came through such as “weak” and “can’t”
- Strong thematic words emerged: “murder”, “family”, “father”, “husband”
These aligned closely with the known history of the house, suggesting we may have been communicating with the man of the household.
Scrying Cube
Our final structured session used the red light scrying cube in front of the mirror.
- The first participant had to stop early due to suddenly feeling of unease
- The second guest’s reflection appeared to shift into the features of a male figure with glasses and pronounced facial structure
- Third guest wasn't much change in appearance
Guests then explored the house freely in there own time and spaces.
A fantastic night with a brilliant group thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the investigation so memorable.
