Mitch

Founder

I founded Faded Footsteps Ltd out of a lifelong fascination with the unexplained and a conviction that paranormal experiences should be crafted with the same care as any great story immersive, respectful and unforgettable. With a huge passion for the history behind the paranormal, being able to partner with some of the most fascinating historic properties across the UK and help support in the preservation of these buildings with Faded Footsteps.

As a founder I combine investigative rigour with creative séances, drawing on years of fieldwork, technical know-how and event production to design nights that put the participant at the centre of discovery. Every element is planned around the customer’s experience: atmospheric storytelling, safe but thrilling interactions, and bespoke investigations tailored to different comfort levels and curiosities. All with the ultimate idea of documenting and truly discovering the unknown behind the paranormal world.

My goal is to build and bring the community together through historic events that celebrate local heritage, spark curiosity and create shared experiences. By blending meticulously researched history with immersive storytelling and participatory activities, I aim to create events that welcome people of all ages and backgrounds, foster intergenerational connections, and strengthen community pride.

Private Investigations lead

Hi, my name is Rob, and have been on this journey with faded from the start . My wife has always been interested in the paranormal, so I watched a lot of different programmes over the years but have felt there was something missing.

Now, what makes it so fascinating to me is the challenge of understanding what comes through and how we can place it in our building . Trying new methods of communication to find the story.

The second big thing for me is the people you meet. No one could categorise what paranormal person is we all different with great stories, and all have different reasons why we do it.

Tanya

I've always been drawn to the stories that linger long after people have gone. Historic buildings, forgotten lives and unexplained experiences have fascinated me for as long as I can remember.

After almost six years investigating some of the UK's most intriguing locations, my passion remains the same: exploring the connection between history, human experience and the unexplained.

As a two-time cancer survivor, questions about what may lie beyond this life became deeply personal. Facing my own mortality led me to reflect on the unknown which has fascinated humanity for centuries. While I don't claim to have all the answers, I believe the search itself is both fascinating and worthwhile.

Whether analysing EVP recordings, researching a location's history or leading guests on an investigation, I approach every event with curiosity, respect and an open mind.

For me, the paranormal isn't simply about ghosts, it's about stories, people, possibility and the mysteries that continue to challenge what we think we know.

Alongside my practical investigation experience, I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing study in paranormal investigation, scientific theory and analysis, EVP capture and review, and demonology. I believe learning never stops, and I am passionate about developing both my understanding and investigative skills.

I am excited to bring my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to Faded Footsteps, and I look forward to helping guests explore some of the country's most fascinating locations while encouraging them to question, discover and experience the unexplained for themselves.”

Hello my names Tammy.

I’m 44 years old I come from Nottingham. I have 2 children also very interested in paranormal activity I’m a very active and love being outdoors I have a very spontaneous nature and very outgoing person. Very easy to get along with I’ve been interested in paranormal investigation for over 4 years now it’s like an amazing hobby and been to many places.

I found paranormal Investigation interesting. I’ve come across plenty of Paranormal experiences in some events from noises, loud bands, being touched, communication and an experience where you kinda don’t feel yourself but that don’t stop me it’s kind of quirky knowing if there is life on the other side so will keep going wherever I can move into more Paranormal Investigation.

Gemma

Southern Regional Lead (Dead Serious Paranormal)

I’ve always felt drawn to the paranormal. From a young age I’ve been fascinated by the unexplained, and that curiosity has grown into a genuine passion that has stayed with me for many years. I began investigating many years ago and along the way, I’ve been fortunate enough to experience things that I simply can’t explain, from seeing full-bodied apparitions and hearing footsteps when no one was there, to feeling what I can only describe as physical contact from something unseen. Those moments have only deepened my desire to learn more and continue investigating with an open mind.

Dead Serious Paranormal was born from countless conversations between my best friend of over 20 years, Emma, and me. We realised we shared the same passion and wanted to create a team where people could experience the paranormal in a welcoming, respectful and enjoyable environment. Not long afterwards, our close friend Caryn joined us, bringing her incredible creativity and talent for filming, helping shape Dead Serious Paranormal into the team we’re so proud of today.

One of the things I love most about investigating is sharing those moments with others. Whether it’s a quiet night with very little activity or an investigation full of fascinating experiences, I want everyone who joins us to leave having learned something, made new friends and enjoyed themselves. At the end of the day, this is a passion I’ve never lost, and I hope I never do.

I have a real passion for working with Ouija boards. I know they’re often misunderstood, but when approached with respect and used responsibly, I’ve witnessed some truly incredible sessions that have left not only me, but everyone in the room, completely gobsmacked by the information we’ve received. Every session is carefully conducted, and I always ensure they’re carried out with the seriousness and respect they deserve.

As Southern Regional Lead for Faded Footsteps, I’m incredibly excited for what’s ahead. I’m looking forward to meeting more like-minded people, creating unforgettable experiences, and helping build a friendly, supportive community where everyone feels welcome—whether it’s their very first investigation or they’ve been exploring the paranormal for years.

Emma

Southern Regional Lead (Dead Serious Paranormal)

I am a co-founder and a lead investigator for Dead Serious Paranormal, and I have had a lifelong interest in the paranormal and unexplained which partly stemmed from paranormal encounters as a child and through my life.

I have been investigating for a number of years, and I have visited many locations across the UK, keeping an open mind during investigations. I have a passion for the historical aspect of what we do also and enjoy investigating the history as much as the location itself.

I enjoy using a range of investigative equipment to document potential activity, my favourite being the sit and wait approach, where you allow the stillness to set the pace. I also thoroughly enjoy using the Estes method and find this an incredibly immersive experience in the right environment.

We founded Dead Serious Paranormal with the intention of exploring our passion for the paranormal with a commitment to respectful, immersive and discerning investigations. I am lucky enough to share this passion with my life long best friend Gemma, and we knew exactly what we wanted to do with Dead Serious Paranormal the day we decided to create it. We were later joined by our friend Caryn, and between us all, we have created something special that we take pride in.

As our team has grown, we have been proud to become the Southern Regional Leads for Faded Footsteps, and I am excited for the future growth and development across the board.

I look forward to gaining more knowledge and understanding of the paranormal and the unexplained, and exploring the most incredible locations around the globe, and the history that fascinates us all.

Caryn

Southern Regional Lead (Dead Serious Paranormal)

Helping build Dead Serious Paranormal from the ground up felt like finally finding where I belong. Growing up in a strict Christian household, anything to do with horror or the paranormal was completely off-limits. It wasn't until I grew up that I realized how much of the world I was shutting out, and I decided it was time to start exploring. Looking back now, I actually remember talking to a spirit at my gran’s house when I was little, I just thought they were a guardian angel at the time because I was taught ghosts didn't exist!

Once I started venturing into the unknown with Gemma and Emma, I was completely hooked. There is genuinely no feeling like getting an intelligent response back during an investigation. It really makes you pause and think about life after death, how we can share these spirits' histories, give them a voice, and understand why they're still lingering.

Because I’ve always loved being creative, I self-assigned the role of team cameraman, but my passion extends into how we investigate as well. On investigations, I naturally lean toward the physical interaction side of things. I love using motion-censored equipment that spirits can easily trigger in real time. Every location’s setup is carefully planned out, for instance, if we’re exploring an old abandoned school, I’ll bring along vintage toys and dolls so we can capture them being moved or activated on camera as we talk to the spirits and invite them to interact.

I’m obsessed with getting the vibe of a place just right on film. The feeling you get walking down a pitch-black hallway or creeping into a basement changes entirely depending on the camera angle and movement, so I make sure it feels completely real for anyone watching. We’ve caught some wild stuff on tape, from distinct footsteps and unexplainable voices to equipment reacting live, and being able to share those moments with other paranormal fans gives me absolute goosebumps.

Beyond the investigations, this journey has meant the world to me personally. Gem and Em have helped me build my confidence back up and just be my true, fun-loving self again. Being around them, I can 100% be me. I’m so proud to film these adventures and share them with you all.
